How Did We Ever Film Get Smart?
A standard network television season usually runs on television from September to May. This year with this crazy 28 episode season, Steve Carell also had a commitment to do a film. He needed like a six to eight week break from the show in the middle of that July to March filming schedule so he could film Get Smart. In order to do that, we had to film 19 episodes in a row. That's when we got sick. I just have a memory of a bunch of us getting a cold book.
