Bayesian Update on Evidence
In some cases, it's clear how to specify priors in an objective way. In other cases, you don't have objective priors and so some basins use what are called subjective priors. And the nice feature of Bayesian updating on evidence is that with a few weird exceptions, no matter what priors you start with, if you update on evidence in a proper Bayesian way, you will converge to the truth. The problem is that sometimes that convergence can take a long time.
