If you follow that strategy, you're gong to have some massively concentrated positions That may not be suitable in a public market setting for many investors. In a private market setting, where you don't have loquinity, that's why it works, because you can't sell it many times. And that's why those people make the money that they make investing in human innovation which i think is one of the greatest investments there is.
