Too much or too little movement is pro-inflammatory. So sitting is the new smoke, as they say. Too much exercise has also been shown to be pro-inflammatory and even contribute towards the gut. We need the right amount of movement. Even if you just little walk, a little bit of stretching, a bit of Tai Chi, Chi Gong, restorative yoga, often that's the sort of thing that we need to think about - not big from yoga.
