The Goth Renaissance

Susie was part of the Sex Fistles following, and she did her first gig at the Hundred Club in 1976. The Bat Cave is a wonderful venue on 69 Dean Street, and it's always, it was Nell Gwyn's house. It became the Gargoyle Club, and by David Tennant, he was kind of an influence on Bowie and a lot of free goth punk imagery. So that was a place where you would have found another prete goth, Dame Edith Stittwell, Dancing the Night Away there. At the same time, there was the new British comedy coming out of this same address. And it goes on to have lots of other influential clubs
