The Three Hundred Years War
In 1651, Oliver Cromwell was on his way to conquering both Ireland and Scotland. Most of the British navy had defected away from Cromwell's Parliament in 1648. The leftover ships broke up into two fleets with the mission of sowing chaos for the British Commonwealth. Under the governorship of John Grahamville, the privateers of Silly waged a piracy campaign against any ships they could reach.
