David Rothkopf: "We have to start wanting Ukraine to win this war more than we hope that Russia is going to lose" He says President Biden and Macron were saying all the right things, but they haven't seen what they're saying translate into policy. We must be willing to give Ukrainians long-range fire systems, fighter jets, air defense systems, main battle tanks, if we want to see Ukraine win, he adds. The coming winter could offer an important window of opportunity for the Ukrainians on the battlefield in the coming months, Rothkopff writes.
