The Lilac Chaser Illusion

This is called the lilac chaser illusion. If you focus your eyes on the black cross, try not to blink and raise your hand if you start to see something odd happen. And there's really compelling demonstrates atually three separate things going on. The first is something we call trokle fading. So when things disappear and reappear in close spatial proximity, we perceive an infer movement between them. There's actually a fourth thing going on here, which, as i've just mentioned before, that colors don't exist out there in the world.
