If we have poor concentration and a poor attention span our mind is in incessant thinking mode and we are literally stuck in our head. It's not just a recipe for not achieving our full potential but it's a recipe for high stress, anxiety and unhappiness. The human mind is wandered a lot but they found that the minds which wandered the most were least happy. We miss out on life when we are stuck in our heads so education should give people control over what they are thinking to be able to direct their attention or understand how to change states.
