Hephaestus was said to produce the lightning bolts on Mount Olympus, but not much is known about the scientific method behind his manufacturing. Lightning occurs when negative electrons in clouds rub up against positive charges called protons in the ground. Zeus sent down a storm of lightning, killing Salmonius immediately and wiping his kingdom off the earth entirely. Now no one will ever remember the mortal Salmonius. But they will remember Salmon, a fish very low in saturated fats.
