Every worker is in effect a business. You sell your labor to an employer. If you can't manage to support yourself in the marketplace, given competitive pressures, then you have no business being there. We all own ourselves. That's how one moral fact becomes a moral universe. I can build everything else from that. Because now you've given me human equality.
