Dopamine and adrenaline change our perception of time. We micro slice time, but it seems like everything goes by really fast. When you're in a high dopamine state, you will know because life feels exciting. You'll almost feel a readiness in your nervous system. That's the readiness for action. And so myself, I love reading scientific papers and books, but Instagram can draw me in too. The gems exist outside of social media and I want to bring those to the podcast and to social media.
Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist and tenured Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function and neural plasticity, which is the ability of our nervous system to rewire and learn new behaviors, skills and cognitive functioning.
