The Journey From Switzerland to the United States
The Via Alpina is a hiking trail that goes from Lichtenstein to Montreux, in Switzerland. "I was planning to hike the whole of it and I failed," says CNN's John Sutter. A restaurant helped him stock up on food as he hiked through high mountain passes. The town of Saadagans has no more than 6,000 people but still calls itself a city.
