Is There a Need for Legal Mentors?
The only reason the legal mentor network exists is because I posted my rejection letter on LinkedIn. The amount of people in law school who have never met a practicing lawyer is surprisingly high right and so what it says about the legal profession is A that unlike almost every other industry you can't like reach out to another lawyer to ask for help. There's zero reason why I should shouldn't help them shouldn't try to make their careers better even if they're in another firm doesn't really matter again. Hopefully this will create more of an environment where young lawyers and law students can feel comfortable reaching out.
