The Trial of Elizabeth Boucher, the Countess's Secret Journal

Countess Elizabeth boutery was accused of torturing and murdering her personal attendants. She never went to trial, despite the fact that she had been involved in many other abuses of power over the years. Her helpers were tried for their crimes but all except elizabeth remained untouched. One servant claimed they found a secret journal with 650 names on it. The countess is believed to have killed at least 80 people during her reign.
