The Threat of Non-Native Trees in Germany
More than half the forest in Germany at the moment consists of nothing but non-native conifers. Climate change make it now worse and foresters are trying to bring more non-native tree species into this forest. The best thing is to leave this plantation on its own. There is no artificial forest on earth which produces more timber than a nature forest so even if you're not interested in environmental things just in economic things you would have to leave the construction of the forest to the trees. It's not my opinion not to manage forests but I want to like to leave it up to the trees to create forest and then we can use timber. We don't know in which amount because climate
