Playing World Building Bingo With Battle Maps

Theory the mind is a mapless way of playing tabletop. It gives you that freedom to be more descriptive, right? And I think maps kind of become a crutch, right? Like maps, whether it's an encounter map or a world map, you rely very heavily on that map instead of being descriptive. So I'm trying to discipline myself to pretend that there's not a map and then just be as descriptive as I would be for podcasts.
