When would you say Mrs Thatcher was at the height of her powers? Because not talking about decline mentally, but a decline in effectiveness. Did that begin in power and when do you think that was? Well, personally, I've always dated it to Lord White Law having a heart attack at the Carol Service in 1918. But there's no doubt that after 10 years in power, she had become perhaps rather over-assertive. She won more votes than Michael Heseltide did in the industry election, clearly more. So, take all those things for the adventure saw. It affects that really after 10 years, you'd be wise to think about standing down because the strain on has been enormous
