What Is a Crap Study?

A crap study is one that you can't, you know, it's obviously not a probability study. If I put a poll up on Twitter and I say, how many podcasts do you listen to each week? And I get 300 people say they listen to 10 or more or whatever; I can't easily describe that sample. So if I can't simply state who was surveyed and who was not surveyed, regardless of the method, then I can't do anything with it. Why are you doing it? You're doing it for content marketing purposes. Maybe you're doing it, but you're not doing it to gain insight.
