How Does the Story End?

In verse 29 they advise Jesus strongly Strongly to not walk any further than a mass but to turn in. When you talk about in the ancient world going on a trek like they did you're talking about no street lights. They literally only could light a candle to light their way. So so Jesus acts like he's gonna walk further, but they know however was it two miles to the next village? Is it three miles then they know that he could die if he kept walking it was dangerous It was not a good decision.
