How a Shared Sequencer Works

Liveness and censorship resistance is what I hear about the most around. If you have a single sequencer, it is fairly non-trivial for that sequencer to censor your transactions. And so then all the users on the L2 are forced to do a manual exit back to L1. The idea of a shared sequencer is to split the notion of ordering and execution. It could also effectively act as a bridging mechanism between different roll-ups.
