The consensus is that at this moment, the day we're recording this, we are not in a recession. We go through these about 10 to 12 year cycles where the economy is really great and the stock market is going gangbusters. It can feel really scary, particularly if you're worried about losing your job or something like that. There's a lot of fear mongering. But think of it as a way that the economy is cleansing itself.
