I realized that because I was sitting in the seat as a board member, I had given this individual a target that was very attractive to a lot of more conservative activists. And they do look for individuals just like that to go and represent around the country. They're constantly looking for local spokespeople who have some prominence. So whoever this person fits into a pattern that we've seen and that we've documented. One of the things that is becoming a little bit more nuanced in their approach is they're seeking to pit communities of color and other marginalized groups within communities against the LGBTQ community.
