Is There a Framework for Language Learning?

I always find it interesting the different approaches you can kind of attack language learning because I guess a school of language learning right now is that you learn each individual part of a sentence of the syntax and then you sort of work your way through filling the blanks yourself. There's just something with the European language framework that gives people an ability to to assemble all of their ideas with these dependent clauses and there's just something that works in the language with the dependent clauses and everything.
