Jesus Suffered to Redeem Every Wrong

Jesus was crucified outside of the city gate. That's the ancient equivalent to skid row. God in human form, carried his s beyond that gate, executed as a common criminal among the common criminals. And he did that to redeem every wrong, to crush the serpent's head. Because of the cross, it was in the way he died, not the way he lived, that ultimately makes us whole. By suffering, heis winning a decisive victory. Nothing can stop him doing that. But he's winning it by bearing the cost of the curse, by enduring the real life consequences of choices that he never made on our behalf. Jesus suffered so that you and i might be healed
