He also nationalized a subsidiary of ITT, a CIA-connected company. JFK himself worked hard to lobby and defeat this bill or this amendment. The idea that he would nationalize Hannah mining, I mean, Hannah is an old Rockefeller connected company. But in Brazil, there's a really strict stratification there. There's a really bloated oligarchy that opposes any measures to help the majority of Brazilian poor people.
