How I Became Interested in Studying Macrophage Activation Syndrome
How did you become interested in studying macrophage activation syndrome? I think that's an interesting question. Some of the most salient experiences I had is when I was a resident. And these patients were sick and the hematologists and the rheumatologists really couldn't agree on what to do because they weren't used to communicating with each other. That made me really interested in like how can we fix this? Because we all want our patients to do better.
