Is Your Partner Showing Up Anxious or Ambivalent?
The diagnosis of love addict is hopeless in the sense that, well, this is just how you are. This is a really helpful tool to understand where they're coming from and how you can validate them. And vice versa, if you're a partner specifically who might be more secure and your partner is showing up and avoidant or anxious or ambivalent. It's not just saying, well, that's your mess. And then come talk to me when you figure it out. There's no relational compassion or empathy.
