What's the Deal With the Democratic National Convention?
There are black delegates for the first time to a democratic national convention. Strom therman is a delegate, he does not work, walk out. The two thirds rule is abolished by the democrats. And this gave the southern democrats a veto power on whom they were going to nominate. This also creates a buzz that maybe roosevelt's doing this so he can have a third term. Of course, that's not going to happen.
