The Importance of Persistence in Trend Following
A lot of the success that is linked to trend following is really in the persistence and in the waiting. If you are not in a position to hang onto that thing for four, five, six, maybe seven years in an unchanged fashion, then it could very likely be that you're not producing a positive result. Marts: There may be things where you have a kill switch or something like that because you think markets will become close and you cannot get out of your positions. I just think that's wrong.
