The Great Disappointment
The day after the great disappointment, there was an Adventist. And I'm going to call them Adventists with a small A because they weren't formally Seventh Adventists yet. So this man named Hiram Edson had seen that Jesus had left the holy place and had entered the most holy place. After 1844, Ellen White said several more dates, including 1848, would be required for people to be saved.
