The Importance of Watching People Work

I was the first public, you know, private person who'd ordered anything from their company website. They were prioritising these bulk orders for all the schools and leaving all the private individuals with only one or two in a pile. It's such a great story because it just goes to show that some of the old fashion techniques that I used in the 1980s are still important. We often need to get out of our offices and the people are doing the real work. And then that can make life so much more efficient.
