A lot of times people confuse complexity with difficulty. People then, I feel, give themselves a pass on tackling them by saying, oh, this is so complex, we can't tackle this. But every other country in the world has figured out how to deal with this. You simply take away military weapons from the hands of people who are in the military. We ban all weapons, except in a licensed gun club and the lock and key. Apart from farmer shotguns. And that ties into a very strong libertarian tradition, both to the left and the right in the US - antagonism towards government. It's what I've always said about can ever you.
