The Father of Scholasticism
Scholasticism is a method of acquiring knowledge and learning that focuses heavily on dialectical reasoning. It's a style of doing philosophy that's conversational, where one or more people have oppose in viewpoints about a certain subject. The most famous argument for the existence of god was made by saint anselm of canterbury. He broke things down into two types: Things that exist only in our human understanding alone, and things that exist in reality.
