How Confident Are You That You Can?

Self-efficacy is like the academic self-concept specific to mathematics. It's effectively just a judgment of how good you are and I can see that this is going to be correlated with achievement because if you're doing better then you should also be judging yourself as better in those things. But there is other research here and other evidence here that indicates that we should think beyond that but it's not just about accurate self-reflection. There's a bit more to this so we'll see that in a moment.
