Is There a Connection Between the Weather and the Weather?

We're looking for some sort of connection between the things we see in the world and what's going on in the weather. And our mind is constantly looking for those connections. We want to make those connections. Often with weather, the stakes are enormous,. particularly when we're talking about highly destructive weather patterns.
