Ibin betute has strong views on the role of women and culture. He was very upset when he found his wife chatting with another man in a walata. Ibenbat is very uncomfortable when he comes across women, even though he doesn't expect them to find him attractive. And this is like geography writing as well, when you want to say a few titillating things about the ladies in that area. So i think he sometimes reports these stories in a slightly salacious way because he wants to maintain his own reputation for being decent.
