Dreyfus sees Heidegger as the deep forerunner of the criticism that we should understand the mind only in propositional computational terms. This is why Dreyfus went on to pick up, also work from Marluponti, which I referenced, and help to develop this notion of optimal grip. Optimal grip is a process that is doing this relevance realization and it is something that is deeper than propositional knowing.
