How to Use Mean Reversion to Make Money in the Market

I would have a hard time doing pure mean reversion, which is literally sticking a limit out in the middle of some place. Once you get an oversold condition, you want to be going long. What I do for the daily is what I would call counter trend as opposed to mean reversion. You're going to find yourself picking up profits in those nice volatile sideways action.
