The Power of Contempt in the Church
If we take the full, well, scriptural witness as to the reality of demonic evil, spiritual attack, then like the call to yell at the devil and say, I'm back. I'm baptized. You can't undermine what the Lord has given me. That even becomes more powerful a confession. When the devil comes and argues with you, show him contempt. Give him the little finger and move on with life - which is Monty Python's fart in your general direction.
