The Pull of Honoring a Noble Sacrifice

A lot of people would have the intuition and it's like, no, this person made a noble sacrifice, we should honor the sacrifice they made. So in your example, the case is that it's actually better for me to take the money? I guess that's the question. A lot of the times we honor the wishes of the dead because it happens to be good elsewhere. But the interesting case is the case in which we fill a pull even though we recognize that it isn't actually the best.
