The child who's playing laa is actually a good actor, but they're coaching her to speak like riley's ister. I think nhat's really where the issue is. She's trying to mimic a how laya spoke in the original trilogy. And i think that's part of what's giving it a hiccuph. The other thing we're beginning to notice about lucas film and this era of disney,. especially disney plus, seems to have this formula of nestalgic character with a child.
