The Importance of Mind Structure in Artificial Intelligence

In the near term, we could find ourselves in a war that involves these AIs on each side. There would be a similar question as to whether or not it would be moral to eliminate the other side's AI entirely and prevent another war. Even if soldiers are fighting alongside these AI's, it's the same sort of bonding thing, right? They're going to draw an emotional attachment.
