Artificial Intelligence and the Law of War
Theatre of war is one area where humans should never relinquish ontrol. Autonomous weapons should be banned, just like chemical and biological weapons. If we have artificial intelligence which can make kill decisions without human intervention, we now have a machine that is essentially responsible. It would be helpful if governments moved more quickly to regulate this area. There is no doubt that developdmental work is undergoing in this area.
