The Knowledge of God Is the Core of a Good Life

Jeremiah says that understanding and knowing God is the ultimate ambition of a good life. He doesn't mention the law in these verses at all, he's establishing the word 'ambition' The knowledge of God is now the root and core to all behavior - if you don't begin with it then your behavioral outcomes will become religious or pharacyical.
