Twitter Charges $8 for the Blue Check

Twitter says it will begin charging for the blue check marks indicated as users are verified. "I actually think that is idea of charging $8 for the blue Check" would be a great way to democratize Twitter, CNN's John Defterios said. He also asked why foreign governments have invested so much money in this kind of targeting in the US.
