The jigsaw starts out with a kind of learning that's divided into groups. Each student is going to be assigned to one of those three groups. They begin by answering the questions just for their groups, working independently. Then they get up and move so that they're with a group of 345 other students who've answered the same set of questions. And they can share their answers with each other.
