The Problem With JMap

The old Cyrus iMap D apparently supports JMap now but Cyrus really, really sucks which is why I use Dovecott instead of Cyrus for the last going on like 25 years. The only times that I am rolling a new mail server these days is if it's part of an application that uses SMTP messaging as part of the stack. And when I look at the project page, they have a list of projects that incorporate JMap right now and there's not very much there.
