Plato's Dialogues

i devoted quite a few episodes of this podcast of plato, and i didn't say anything like that. So where did this all come from? Is it really more going back to the old academy or is it something that can actually be found in plato himself? I think he writes dialogues. He doesn't speak in his own voice, ther interlocutors. And the way of writing is also, to some extent, aparatic. Some of the dialogues are cult apparatic dialogues. There was always a cation on plato si orand do you think at some one like eudorus or alcinous were close readers of plato?
