Booking Too Far Ahead?

Many hotels and car rentals in Japan are not available from September onwards. Do Japanese hotels typically only allow guests to book within a certain number of months beforehand? I think you're probably just booking too far ahead, Jonathan says. Try when there's like three or four months to go maybe. There's no reason that hotels would be booked up for September already.
